Shelf Life of Tilapia Fillets
Mountain Stream fillets, as demonstrated in multiple trials, will remain at optimal consumption conditions for 14 days at 30º F from production, 14 days from reception in US. It is important to emphasize that temperature will control the rate of bacterial spoilage and enzyme breakdown; higher temperature will yield shorter shelf life; strict control methods are therefore used to maintain fillets at 30-32º F to ensure maximum shelf life.
